ONE DAY OVERNIGHT EXCURSION FROM JUST 127 EURO PER PERSON

An unforgettable and fascinating trip to an enchanting, historic and vibrant city including a visit to the only one of the “seven wonders of the ancient world” still standing – the great pyramids of Giza.
You will be driven from your hotel to Marsa Alam’s airport for a short flight to Cairo. You can fly out on either a Sunday, Monday or Wednesday at 19.10 arriving at Cairo at 20.35 where you would be met at the airport and whisked away by limousine to your hotel.
*The prices for all the excursions including lunch are 180 euro for the first person, 130 euro for the second person and 110 euro for each extra person. Prices include the hotel with breakfast, all transfers, lunch, all trips and transport to the sites in Cairo and the services of an Egyptologist tour guide. The first night you will have a three star hotel which if available would be the City View Hotel which is located almost opposite the Egyptian Museum. In the morning you will have breakfast at the hotel and then have an escorted tour around Cairo visiting
You would return to Marsa Alam by Egypt Air leaving Cairo late afternoon or early evening which gets you back to Marsa Alam about an hour and twenty five minutes later. You would then be picked up at the airport and taken back to your hotel.

Pick up from your hotel in the early morning by your chauffeur to take you to Marsa Alam airport for your flight to Cairo. There you will be met on arrival by your own personal Egyptologist guide who will escort you on a full day’s exploration of this legendary city.
Then fly late evening to Luxor where you will be met by your driver who will whisk you to a top five star hotel where you will stay the night. Then next day explore the wonders of Luxor with a qualified guide and in the late afternoon relax in a trational felucca sail boat while watching the setting sun before finally departing by private car back to Marsa Alam.

1. The Egyptian Museum
One of the most famous museums in the world with 120,000 items. It houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities including many beautifully preserved mummies as well as stunning ivory and gold artifacts from the reign of King Tutankhamen.

The Sphinx
A giant limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human. It was built approximately 2,500BC probably by the pharaoh Khafra. In medieval times locals paid homage to the Sphinx believing it to be the talisman of the Nile and that their harvest depended on his goodwill. It’s not known how the Sphinx lost his nose but one stories says it was as a result of a cannon ball shot by Napoleon’s soldiers.

Khan EL Khalili
Probably Cairo’s oldest, largest and most famous souk. It dates back to the fourteenth century when the spice trade flourished and was a man reason for the city’s rise and early prosperity. Today it’s a great place for shopping or relaxing in one of the traditional coffee houses to soak up the atmosphere. The famous Al Azhar University and mosque can be found close by.
