The hotel is the only one we know of which has organized two “clean up” days a week where guest volunteers and staff work together to clean up a local beach. Well done to the management in having such a green outlook.
On TripAdvisor, as of 1 March 2021, Gorgonia’s ranking at 27th out of 76 hotels is a little lower than its level scored in previous years, although the proportion of guests rating the hotel as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ has never been higher.
As of 1 March 2021, over 88% rated the resort as either ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ (up from 83% in 2012) and just 4.3% considered their experience ‘poor’ or ‘terrible,’ a significant improvement on 2019 and even back then only 7.9% were sufficiently unhappy to attribute a “poor” or “terrible” rating. On HolidayCheck.de, as of 1 March 2021, the hotel had an impressive overall score of 5.2 out of six stars but it still represented a slight slip from its peak of 5.4 attained in January 2018. In two categories (sport and entertainment as well as gastronomy) the results were better than the last time we checked in 2019 – sport and entertainment improving from 5.0 to 5.1 and gastronomy from 5.0 to an enviable 5.2, which is a new all time high for the resort. However, two categories (service and rooms), though still obtaining impressive ratings, saw slight declines in their scores. There was no change in the rating for location.
